History

Born in the Barnett Shale in 2002, Frac Tech was created from the idea that frac solutions provided by a single, forward-thinking enterprise could maximize efficiency through the perfect blending of technology, equipment and manpower. Quality is monitored by Frac Tech supervisors and engineers at each level of the supply chain – from the manufacturing of high pressure pumping equipment and compounding of fluid systems to the delivery and pumping of proppant at well sites. Each link in the chain is specifically designed with the next link in mind – the blueprint for Total Control.

Over the years, that blueprint has not changed – only the scope of the operation. Headquartered in Cisco, Texas, Frac Tech finished 2002 with a single district – and a determined plan for expansion. Today, Frac Tech operates in these districts nationwide:

  • Aledo, TX
  • Artesia, NM
  • Bossier City, LA
  • Bryan, TX
  • Longview, TX
  • Odessa, TX
  • Vernal, UT
  • Brownsville, PA
  • Williamsport, PA

The Total Control concept can be seen at every level from state-of-the-art fluid engineering and testing of fracturing fluid systems at it’s Chickasha, OK lab, to the “ground-up” manufacturing of its High-Pressure Pump Trucks at it’s Cisco High Lift Facility, to the full-service proppant loading, storage and distribution centers in Cleburne and Monahans, TX, Rifle, CO and Wilburton, OK. This comprehensive network of facilities combined with the most recent advances in fluids, software and oil-field technologies, shows Frac Tech is striving to maintain the highest possible production standards – every day.

Add the proven expertise of our scientists, engineers, field specialists and a forward-thinking management team and you can understand how Total Control allows Frac Tech to deliver efficient, innovative and customized solutions for petroleum producers quickly and economically. And perhaps most importantly, Total Control means more environmentally-conscious systems and a non-compromising commitment to safety; benefiting all of our neighbors around the world – generation after generation.

Today, Frac Tech operates in 11 districts nationwide
